Ĝan now set some properties of the listed resolutions from AppleScript (allows batch setting visibility from external if needed).Ĝorrectly saves the Finder icons even if the desktop is hidden in the Finder.Ĝorrectly shows the Menu at first click in the menu bar of a secondary display.Ĝorrectly shows the Menu if the only options to show are the color profiles or the display brightness.Ĝan paste several resolutions at once in the custom resolutions list.Should report the notch on all variants of 16" M1 Macs.Ěllows to set different key modifiers for showing the new contextual menu.Normally remembers settings (for example visibility in the Menus) when rotating the display.Ĝorrectly shows a mode with a fixed refresh rate, if this rate is identical to the maximal refresh rate of a variable refresh rate mode.Is able to report the frequency range on variable refresh rate modes (on Intel only).Shows in the current resolutions list which one is the actual resolution, even if the list is grouped by frequency.Ĝorrectly groups the resolutions by frequencies if both scaled and unscaled resolutions with identical sizes exist.Ěllows to display the resolutions grouped by frequencies in the settings application independently of the group in the in main menus.Removes the popup window asking to install the Helper Tool at first start on macOS 11 and above.Solves an issue when quitting and saving the preferences application wouldn't update saved settings in the daemon.Solves an issue when using the preferences file as a template (for deployed installation).Should be able to export EDIDs for nearly identical monitors.Preliminary support for macOS 13 Ventura: should install correctly and shouldn't crash on the first betas.I hope this saves someone some time and allows this mixer to do accept more devices for less money. You will lose your media pool when power cycling but when testing you should leave it alone.Īlso most windows computers with Nvidia graphics cards have "Create Custom Resolution" This I have a lot of hope for but the parameters get more complicated the deeper you go. I say this because if you just leave a computer connected HDMI and run through the settings you might pass one that works. Thats when I power cycled the unit and it worked. I works for hours trying to get different combinations to work until I could not return the settings and see my laptop using the same settings that worked before. Media Player 1080i 60hz GOOD HDMI and SDI converter Sound is choppyĬanon 60D 1080i 60hz GOOD VIA cheap HDMI TO SDI converter 1080i 50/60hz With the setting on the switcher 1080i 59.94. Here are my results so far with the 4k 2 M/E. This has been frustrating to say the least. Is there any chance that independent control of this scalier will be made accessible in future software/firmware updates? It would be a huge usability improvement if were possible to use a multi-view monitor that didn't necessarily operate at the same frame rate/ resolution as your cameras & other inputs. The gig is for one of the worlds largest retailers, and it's fairly typical use case that I have to be able to support.Īlso, a feature request for BM: The multiview output must have a scalier in order to output 1080i when the switcher is in 4k modes. Does anybody have timings for SwitchResX that will work with this switcher for what I'm doing with this is a sub-switch that the show doesn't depend on, and I'm not charging my client for this gear this time out as it's a "beta test" set up. I've experimented with the custom timings quite a bit to see if any of the "near by" scan rate/pixel clock timing combinations will work, but nothing so far. I've installed SwitchResX 4.3.5 on the Mac and tried to set up a custom resolution that the ATEM will recognize, but no luck. The windows machine is showing up fine when I set the extended display to "1920x1080 59 (interlaced)" (I'm guessing that it's actually 59.94). I'm using it to switch four broadcast cameras that are SDI and I need to mix playback and graphics coming from a Mac running OS X 10.8.4 and a PC running Windows 8 respectively. I just bought a ATEM Production Studio 4k and I've brought it along on a gig to test it in the real world.
